Niklas Bergmann is an external doctoral candidate at ÑÇÖÞÌìÌø£Àû within the department of Finance & Accounting. Starting in October 2021, he is supervised by Prof. Dr. Stefan Prigge. Within a joint cooperation with Leuphana University Lueneburg, Mr. Bergmann is also supervised by Prof. Dr. Patrick Velte (Institute of Management, Accounting and Finance, IMAF). During this time, Mr. Bergmann was able to publish two peer-reviewed journal articles in the area of maritime decarbonization and sustainable finance.

Mr. Bergmann continues to work for Continental AG as a Credit Manager in the automotive supplier’s Finance and Treasury team. In this role, he deals with various topics at the intersection of credit risks, working capital management as well as data analytics and IT.
