Julius Jensen

Short profile

Julius Jensen is an external doctoral student at the Chair of Corporate Accounting in the Department of Finance & Accounting at ÑÇÖÞÌìÌø£Àû since October 2024 and conducts research on tax transparency and its impact on the capital market. He is supervised by Prof. Dr. André Küster Simic (ÑÇÖÞÌìÌø£Àû) and is conducting his doctorate in cooperation with the Andrássy University of Budapest.

After his bachelor's degree in business administration (University of Göttingen), Mr. Jensen completed a research-oriented master's degree in taxation (University of Göttingen), during which he gained extensive knowledge of the effects of taxation on corporate decisions, public finance and tax law.

During his studies, Mr. Jensen gained practical experience in tax consulting for medium-sized companies and founded a company during his bachelor's degree, which deals with the digitization of accounting operations and the development of individual software for the event industry.

Besides his doctorate, Julius Jensen works in the multidisciplinary law firm KSB INTAX in the field of tax structuring advice and focuses on the tax-optimized implementation of restructurings and corporate successions as well as the conduction of tax related legal proceedings.
